Kirby and the rainbow curse review ♡

I'm really happy to review this game for you guys because I've been so excited about this game ever since it was announced. I waited for so long!~ Kirby & The Rainbow Curse ($39) Is seriously one of the cutest games i've played in a long, long while. Sadly its only playable on the Nintendo Wii, it would have been really great on the Nintendo 3DS since the whole game is you using the stylus to draw rainbow everywhere.

Heres a trailer including some of the actual gameplay. I absolutely adore the textures they used in this game because its so different than anything they've ever done before. Its consistent and super colorful! The claymation makes it so endearing because you can see the fingerprints all along the characters and scenery. Its especially cute when Kirby gets launched against a wall and he flattens out because he's made out of clay.

One of the main reasons I really wanted this game is because its multiplayer and I really wanted to play it with my boyfriend. You can play with up to 4 people which is fantastic because if you're going to pay $39 for a game you want to be able to play it with some friends! I played a few levels alone and found that the game is actually much more enjoyable when you're playing with a partner because waddle dee actually helps out a lot. Although there are some short levels that multiplayer isn't allowed but they only ever last for 10-30 seconds and then the other players jump back in.

I honestly cannot get over how pretty the game play is. The screenshots do it zero justice! Its so high quality and colorful it makes you feel really happy just playing it! I didn't want to take a lot of screenshots of the gameplay because I didn't want to give a ton away but most of the game is you using the stylus to guide kirby around. It was fairly easy at first and I was a bit worried that the game would go by quickly and i'd be done with it in a few days but now that i'm towards the end of the game it gets more difficult and its challenging in a good way. Theres things to do even after you finish the game. There is a music box feature where you can collect music from the game and past kirby games that you can listen to on your Wiiu which is perfect because the soundtrack for this game is adorable.

Theres also a feature called Secret diary that you can collect pages from a Diary and the art for that feature is AMAZING its honestly so cute I don't know how anyone could hate it. Each level has a different page about the level (which is written by Elline) I didn't know about these during the first few levels so I need to go back and try and collect them all! I can't wait to read them in order.

This game is actually Amiibo compatible! Amiibo are Nintendos brand new figures that are interactive with select games. Kirby and the rainbow curse works with the Kirby, Meta knight, and King dedede Amiibo. I have all three of them and i've tried all three with the game and honestly I could totally live without using them for the game ever again. You can only use each amiibo once per day (lame) and for only one level. They grant you things like extra health, more hit points, and attack bonuses which are all barely noticeable.

All in all i'm super happy with this game. I would buy it again in a heart beat! Its super fun and I would recommend it to anyone for all ages. If I had any complaint it would be that when you're playing with someone else you really aren't looking at the same screen... Since player one (Kirby) needs to be played on the gamepad with a stylus you are looking down 100% of the time while player two-four are looking at the TV screen. Which isn't honestly anything too big but I have noticed you can see more details on the TV screen than you can on the gamepad which is a small complaint, but you know!

My favorite lush products ♡

1. Space girl bath bomb   I absolutely adore this bath bomb because it makes the bath water look like a galaxy! Plus it looks really cute even when you're not using it. The glitter stays on your skin for a little after too, so its fun!

2. Helping hands, hand lotion  This is my favorite hand lotion! My hands tend to get dry because of my job so its really nice to keep this in my bag and use it every once in a while. Its a pretty tiny pot but it lasts a few months.

3. Cupcake face mask  The fresh face masks from Lush you can only buy in stores because they have to be kept refrigerated. But if you have the chance to get one I highly recommend it! It smells like chocolate and helps a ton when I break out due to my ~time of the month~

4. D'fluff shaving soap  I bought this in Vegas a few months ago and I haven't used anything else since. It smells like strawberries and makes your legs feel fantastic! It leaves a light strawberry scent on your skin too! It contains coconut oil so it doesn't leave razor burns either.

5. You snap the whip body butter  This product unfortunately doesn't last too long... But it is seriously SO nice. When you rub it against your skin it has a cooling sensation and scrubs your skin really nice. It comes off black so its kind of fun to wash with! I would use this a couple times a week or when I wanted my skin to be super soft. If you pair this with the strawberry feels forever massage bar, you will feel like heaven! If you do purchase this I suggest buying the tin they have in stores and online.

6. Strawberry feels forever  This massage bar makes me feel so cute whenever I use it! It makes your skin feel really great and if you use it right before you sleep, when you wake up your skin looks super healthy and soft. Plus it smells amazing. This is my favorite massage bar i've ever tried.

7. Grease lightening   This is a spot treatment for acne and it works so well. You just dab it onto your skin wherever you are having break outs and it flattens the area pretty much over night. Although it can dry out your skin if you use it too much in the same spot so be careful to only use it on your break outs!

If you're new to lush and have no idea what to get I recommend starting off with any of these products! ♡ Let me know what your favorite Lush products are down in the comments ~

My new tattoo ♡

I've been wanting to get a Korilakuma tattoo for so long now and I finally got it done! I got it done by the lovely Melvin at Propaganda Tattoo. It was my first time getting any kind of ink done on my legs! This is currently my 6th tattoo! It came out even better than I expected. Im so completely in love with it! I just got it today (Jan 17th) so its still pretty swollen and puffy but once it heals ill post an update photo! I actually found Melvin on instagram after looking everywhere for a tattoo artist that does cutesy tattoos. She actually did my other tattoo that you can see here

The details are so amazing! The sprinkles on the doughnuts and the little seeds on the strawberries are my favorite ♡ u ♡ Honestly it did hurt pretty bad and compared to my other tattoos its one of the worst ones but it was so worth it. It took around 4 and half hours in total so by the end of it my skin was really sensitive. I would do it all over again though if I had to because its so amazing.

I really hope you guys like it and if you want to get anything done by Melvin I would suggest calling her at propaganda or message her on instagram! ♡ If you have any questions about tattoos or anything leave them below and ill do my best to answer them!

Black friday haul ♡

I bought way more for black friday than I intended to! I went shopping at Plaza bonita mall in San Diego~ One of the first places I went to was this place called "My roomie"? It was so weird to me because the whole store looked exactly like Brandy melville. It was pretty cheap compared to them though, and they had small-large! I got those two dresses for $50~ It's honestly so strange how that store looks exactly like BM. All sales were final so I feel like the store won't last very long ; - ;..

I absolutely love the body shop so I was really excited when they were doing their "3 for 33" sale! I picked up a really pretty vanilla perfume (that I like spraying in my hair), Banana conditioner,  and a seaweed clay face mask! If you want reviews on any of these products just let me know!

Bath and body works was doing "3 for 3" so of course I took advantage of that! I bought the Vanilla bean noel shower gel and lotion because I love vanilla smells and I also purchased fuzzy fox socks and more bubble bath.

When I went to ulta they had really amazing deals! I picked up this lorac palette that everyone seemed to be going crazy over. It says its valued at $110 value and I got it for $12. I've never owned anything from the brand so I'm not too sure about it but the colors are really pigmented except for the second brown color! I'm really glad I ended up buying it. While I was at ulta I also picked up some more shower gel (jeeze i bought too many bath products...)

What did you guys buy for black friday and cyber monday?

Disneyland trip + meeting Baymax ♡

I went to Disneyland the other day and I was talking about on twitter how I wanted to start blogging about Disneyland more since i'm always there and a lot of you seemed to like the idea so I did it!~ I'm not sure exactly what i'm going to start doing with these disneyland posts so if you have any suggestions or requests just let me know! I went on November 18th, which was really perfect because the park was a lot emptier than i'm used to it being. The main reason I wanted to go to Disneyland was because I wanted to meet baymax. After seeing Big Hero 6, I was completely in love with him. I REALLY thought the line to see him was going to be long, but I waited about 30 minutes.

He's located in Starcade, right next to Space mountain! I know its super lame but I almost cried when I met him. I really like what they did with his suit too, I thought it would be kind of lame since the movie just came out but he looks exactly how he does in the movie! And when you hug him, he hugs you back.

Oh and he BLINKS! It's honestly so cute. When little kids come up to him he bends down just like he does in the movie and blinks. I was squealing the whole time ^~^. In the middle of waiting for Baymax, they switched Hiros which was really strange to me since i've never seen Disney do that with a face character before. It was a completely different person and it was very noticeable. But I was kind of happy since the Hiro I met seemed a lot happier than the other!

Baymax is seriously all over Disney right now and I'm 100% okay with it. These balloons are so cute!~ I really want to get one when I go back.

The castle is finally decorated for the holidays and its so pretty. I feel like it looks a little different for some reason but I can't really point out what exactly it is.

My dress is from H&M and my bag is from Ebay! I kind of regret wearing this though because it was so cold out I wasn't anticipating it at all. I'm actually sick now because I was in the cold for so long.. ;- ;

I tried the Mexican food at Disneyland for the first time and it was seriously super good. I got it from Rancho Del Zocalo right next to Thunder mountain. It was really filling and for my boyfriend and I to eat it was only $26 which isn't too bad. It was a lot of food! I will definitely eat there again. I think its my new favorite comfort food ; u ; .

I didn't end up going on many rides because I was honestly walking around aimlessly. I was really sad because I hadn't gone to the park in about three weeks and I know that sounds stupid but thats a really long time for me. I saw the Holiday parade for the first time since I was really little and it was amazing! I never sit down and watch the parades but it was well worth the wait. I won't do it again, but I don't regret waiting three hours to watch it ^~^ I'm really excited to do some more Disney related blog posts for you guys! Be sure to let me know what you want~
