In this post i'm going to teach you how to jailbreak and add cute themes to your phone! Please read everything carefully because if you ask a question that I answered in this post, I wont answer it again due to the fact I know i'm going to get a million thousand questions. Jailbreaking your phone is really simple and will not break your phone. I've had my phone jailbroken for a really long time, and nothing bad has happened. Your warrantee will not be voided if you jailbreak your phone because you can always take the jailbreak off. Unless your phone breaks while its jailbroken, well then... you're on your own. Its almost impossible to break or harm your phone in the jailbreaking process, but if you somehow do, do that. I am not responsible! And lastly, there is NO way to apply these sort of themes without jailbreaking your phone. I am aware there are apps you can download to apply layouts on your phone but those slow down, and kill your phone battery a lot faster than jailbreaking your phone.
The first thing you're going to do is go to the Evasi0n website and click on the system you are using. This will open a download link that will start automatically. This website is 100% safe and will not harm your computer or phone. I have a mac so I clicked on the Mac OS x option. This jailbreak is for iOS 6.0 through 6.1.2 so if you've updated your phone recently this will work for you. If you're unsure of what iOS your phone is you can go to settings > general > about > version.
Once evasi0n is downloaded this should pop up on your computer. It might look a little different if you're on windows, but you get the idea! This is whats going to jailbreak your phone. You connect your phone with the usb charger and click jailbreak. After, its going to give you a list of things to do to your phone follow those directions carefully. It took me a couple of times to get it right, so don't be scared! If you do it wrong, it wont break your phone, it will just ask you to do it again.
Once your phone is jailbroken you're going to have the cydia app downloaded on your phone. This is where you can download themes, tweaks, and a whole world of new things for your phone. For a list of cool tweaks you can visit this website. You can also do some exploring of your own by clicking on sections. Be sure not to download too many things, or your phone will get slow, if this happens, you can click manage > packages then select the thing you want to delete, and click remove.
To apply themes to your phone you're going to have to download something called winterboard. This is where all of your themes and tweaks will be placed. You can select and unselect things that you want to be placed on your phone.
Once winterboard is downloaded, this icon will show up on your phone. Since we haven't downloaded any themes yet, you don't need to play with it just yet.
So on to the cute themes. The website is Ifansland. Once you click that link a website will come up that looks exactly like this, the first thing you are going to have to do is make an account. I would recommend not translating this site with google translate because it makes some of the download links unclickable. So I circled what you need to click. Or, if you're lazy you can just click here ya poop.
The registration process is easy. I filled it out with what you need to enter. It goes: Username, password, password, email, security code. Since we can't see the code, all you need to do is click the red letters and it will enter it for you. Then click the blue button at the bottom.
Once you're all signed up, go back to the home page and click what I circled in this photo, this will take you to all the themes they have on this website.
Once you click what I said to above, your screen should look like this. Here you can click what phone you have and look for themes for your device! There are hundreds of pages to scroll through, but once you find one you like, click on it!
Just as an example, I picked a theme that looks like this.
Once you click on the theme you want, it will take you to a forum that will show you more photos of the theme along with some information about it. If its what you want, look for a zip file and click it. This should start the download!
Next comes the sort of tricky part. I wanted to link you guys to youtube videos instead of trying to explain it to you because it is kind of difficult to explain. So please watch these videos, these are going to explain to you how to download the next program you're going to need and how to use it.
Once you used openSSH to put your theme onto your phone, open up winterboard (the app I showed you earlier) and click select themes. This is what your screen should look like (but with all your own themes) Select the theme you want, and click respiring! Once you do that your theme should be on your phone and you will have the cutest phone out of all of your friends!
