How to make your desktop cuter ♡



My boyfriend and I worked on this blog post for you guys ♡ It has a bunch of wallpapers and icons you can use to change around your computer to make it look super adorable! The computer i'm working on is a Macbook pro "15. I really hope you guys enjoy ٩(^ᴗ^)۶






Its kind of a confusing process but hopefully I can help you guys out a little! If you're confused all you do is google "how to change icons on mac" and a ton of articles come up! 


Select the icon you want to work on and double click it so that these options show up


Then select Options > Show in finder


Once finder pops up double click to open this selection screen on the left hand corner and then click get info


Make sure all of the bottom selections say "Read and write" (on the bottom left hand corner) You can double click to change them!


Now that they all say read and write open up the pictures you have saved for the icon 


Select Edit > Select all 


And then you're ready to copy / paste it ! 


Click back onto the get info for the icon you're working on and then click the icon on the top left hand corner and paste


The icon won't show up right after! First you need to select the icon and then do options > show in finder, and then it should reset and you should have your new icon! 

Now changing the finder icon and trash icon are a little more tricky so here are some tutorials you can read ( 1 / 2 ) and if you have a PC you can learn how to change your icons here ♡

    How do you change finder and the trash bin? Also my calendar icon won't change

      I didn't end up changing my calendar because its not in my dock but i added links to the post on how to change the finder and trash!

      if you look at the very top of the window, right beside of the application info (title of app, size, etc), there is a small icon there. select it, then the option to paste should show up! hope this helps!
