DIY honey and oatmeal mask for acne and acne scars ♡

Have you been having trouble with acne lately? Do you have acne scars that you really want to get rid of?! Then this mask is for you. Not only is honey a perfect antibacterial but oatmeal is jam packed with amazing things that can help sooth your skin when its red and irritated. You know when you're breaking out and your face is all red and hurts? This will help you!

 What you'll need
Honey
 (3 table spoons)
Oatmeal
 (2 table spoons)
Lemons
(one table spoon of fresh lemon juice OPTIONAL)

Warning: This CAN get messy so make sure to do this in a bathroom. When you have the mask on, make sure to have a towel draped over your chest so when it drips, it doesn't get all over the place.

The first thing you're going to want to do is blend or grind the oatmeal into a fine powder. I actually don't have a blender at the moment so I couldn't show you guys, sorry! You don't HAVE to blend it, but it makes the whole process a little less messy than it already is. After you grind the oatmeal you're going to add three table spoons of honey to the mix. Once everything is in, mix everything together really well with a spoon or fork.

Once everything is mixed together make sure it isn't too watery, if it is you can add more oatmeal. If its too dry, add more honey. As this mask is amazing for acne scars, adding lemon to the mix will make it even better. If you want that extra boost you can add one table spoon of fresh lemon juice. If you have a lot of acne currently on your face I wouldn't recommend this as it can burn a little if there are open scars on your face. Leave everything on for about 15 minutes, wash off, and you're done! Your face should look and feel like a baby's bottom.

    1. Use fresh lemon (organic would be better) as bottled lemon juice contains preservatives and additives already.. :-)

Not a day goes by where I don't thank the lord that I found this powerful solution. It really works, I will recommend anyone who wishes to stop suffering and do something about his acne to order your program. It was the wisest decision I have ever made about myself. See this free presentation and it's reveals a somewhat unusual tip to eliminate your acne forever and gain beautiful clear skin in 30-60 days. End the breakouts & see results in less than 7 days!

  28. We all have gone through the awkward acne phase, though it is not for everybody to deal with the scars. Life is unfair that way. But anyway, it’s good to know about natural and really easy-to-make treatments, although such usually require diligence and time. But it’s definitely worth it once the organic solution starts taking effect, and knowing you didn’t throw a lot of money away.

  31. Oatmeal and honey are known for their moisturizing qualities. And I must say that these two are effective. I usually add some egg whites to the mixture because it can gently exfoliate your skin and tighten up your pores.

    1. Are you using just oats and honey as mask or also adding lemon juice to the mask? Or just using as a cleanser? Details please =) the type of honey (brand too) can make a huge difference. Manuka rated #5 is great but when i use the higher active #12 or #15 manuka honey it is like glue to my skin and breaks me out badly. I have same issue: cystic, pimples, scarring....
      Thx!!! Annie
