Under eye circles can be really annoying, it can make you seem really dead and tired even when your not. They can be caused by several different reasons like; Sinus infections, lack of sleep, eating salty foods, allergies, heredity, crying, and sleeping in certain positions. That seems like a ton of stuff that are hard to get rid of, but with some of the methods i'm going to suggest you can help them fade or even go away completley!
Switching up your sleeping position
If you notice that one side of your eye circles are darker or more noticeable than the other side then its most likely the way you are sleeping. Fluids collect under our eyes and it will collect (thanks to gravity) on one side more than the other if the way your sleeping is contributing to your under eye circles. Try to fall asleep on your back!
Don't sleep with makeup on
Sleeping with makeup on, even the slightest bit can irritate your eyes which can make fluids pool up under your eyes. No matter how sleepy you are, always, always take off your makeup! It's really bad for your skin as well.
That probably sounds really funny but if you put a spoon in the freezer for about 5-10 minutes and use the round part under your eyes and just hold it there for a little while (I do it until the coldness goes away, I usually freeze two spoons) it will break up all the weird goop under your eyes and you will seem more awake and ready for the day. It's a really good idea to do this before you do your makeup! Splashing your face with cold water or washing your face with cold water is also really good because it will wake you up and add all that color back into your face.
Not only is green tea super yummy but it can be good for acne and your dark circles! If you get a green tea bag, and dip it water just so its wet, put it on a dish and just stick it in the freezer until its frozen it will help SO MUCH! I used to do this all the time. I would suggest using something that doesn't have a lot of sugars or anything like that, just plain old green tea! When I do it I just rub it around my eyes and when it starts melting a little I rub it all over my skin too because it makes your skin so soft and it helps clear up your skin too. With this, and the cold spoon method you will see results immediately!
Drink more water
Drinking water is good for your health overall. If you have acne, dry skin, or dark circles, drinking a lot of water can be beneficial for you. I personally drink three glasses of water every night before bed and after a week you WILL notice a difference. Your skin will look brighter and just nicer in general. You can be getting dark circles because of dehydration.
Apply lotion at night
Using a night cream or applying face lotion at night can help a lot. If you put lotion around your eyes lightly massage the under eye area so the blood circulation in your face comes back. This can help everything break up and go away. Lightly massaging your whole face can also help your face slim down too!
